oracle intro one easy way to configure oracle. It's call oracle instant. Only consists necessary files instead of installing whole bunch of oracle client. Most important thing is save place :)

1) download from oracle website

2) unzip files into folder

3) set path to folder which you place and set new variable that is TNS_ADMIN

4) place tnsnames.ora file into folder

The good thing is you able to customize the default settings. Also, you can replace "updating in progress" statement with animated indicator progress. All these speakers are from Microsoft. One of interesting topic is refactoring. Meaning a tool is use to checking against classic code ie.VB to see which lines of code need to change. Even have tool tips on the code change explanation. I guess microsoft developer did get job for VS2008 as really simplified developers job. In old days, need to write hundreds of line codes just to generate piece of output. Now all u need to do is click here n there.. viola output is generated. So what do u think sh those classic codes turn in .NET world? Hrm i wonder ....

When you start a project, among the various side factors, completion of the projects within the stipulated time frame is the one that is prominently on top of all other considerations. Things get harder when you are going through multiple projects at a time. However, there are solutions and workarounds as this article will point out some of these.

SET PRIORITY
When you deal with multiple clients, it is important to prioritise the project and rank it accordingly by assigning them various levels base on requirements. It helps you to start the real work with a clear vision. Following is an example:
On a day, you are feeling a bit off and are not finding any inspiration to work for some reason. However, you still have to work as you need to satisfy, let’s say, two clients. So, you can go through any of the following:
You work too hard despite your adverse physical or mental condition, and finish both the projects, making the client satisfied. But, as you have stressed yourself too much, thus your health can break down, forcing you not to work at all for the next 3 or 4 days; which may easily offend the other remaining clients.
You decide to complete one project and left the other for the next day, as you know the later client will not be too stressed out and is co-operative, but the former one is not always so co-operative and tends to easily get along if the deadline is not met.
For me, option ‘2’ is much better and suitable for the condition as you are properly evaluating and prioritising the clients according to the merit of their behaviour and the gravity of the projects.

SET YOUR OWN DEADLINE
Before finalising a project, do think about your own ability. If the client asks you to finish 4 articles in 2 days, think first if you can or not. If you are really sure, go ahead, if not, ask for the reduction and try your best to surpass that limit. For example if the client agrees on 3 article in 2 days, finish it and try to finish another 1. This way if you are successful, client will be more than happy, and even if you manage to finish at least 3, you are on the safe side.

WORK IN WEEKDAYS ONLY
Do not work more than 5 days. In any case, do not cross those extra 2 days over, even if you know that you can work. Accept the projects keeping in mind that those 2 days you are not working. In this way, you will always have few extra days for emergencies, chilling outs or sudden events; and more importantly, it is vitally crucial that you take some break in the middle of continuous work.

EVALUATE YOURSELF EVERYDAY
Before packing up for the day, evaluate yourself. Analyse how much work you did against the expected scale. Decide if anything had gone wrong and how to fix that. Also plan how the next day should proceed. You must make this a habit, which will greatly benefit you on becoming a potent performer in your field with time.

KEEP A CLOSE EYE ON SOCIAL OCCASIONS
Social events are part of life and some of them you just can’t miss by any means. However, the problem occurs when you suddenly remember them and then it becomes difficult to adjust with the work you were doing at that time. To avoid this, go through the weekly schedule carefully and properly identify days that will have to be spent on outside events other than work, and schedule your work according to that. This way you will always have a nice balance of work and social life.

Ever since i was pregnant getting ready for bb stuff is a must especially being newbie parent.Basic preparation like crib, mattress, feeding, bath product n etc. Some of my friends recommended bb stores around penang island.

Kids Gallery located at Pulau Tikus (next to seng heng electrical shop).They sell bb toys, feeding, bathing and etc. Also, some branded stuff such as fisher n price, maclaren and etc.Good point is the lady boss (i think) it's friendly and share lots of parenting stuff.If you are parent to be, they will provide bb checklist.

Selling creative, learning and educational toys for children and bb. Can't provide more information b'coz have not been to this place.

yesterday had spare time wonder around gurney area after window shopping at gurney plaza. Since it's too early for dinner (undicide wat to hv) take some time tour around new community area behind island plaza. This new community is called "seri tanjung pinang" build by E&O Property Development Berhad

It's a very big residential area. The house is huge n vy elegant n nice. uhh.. dun know how to describe coz it's too beautiful. The exterior design it's much different from other landed property in penang. Some of these design colonial look a like such as courtyard terraces. the build up area it's more than 4000 sq ft. hrmm that it's 4 x larger than my place. Even the fencing gate it's classic. Unfortunely the sales office business hour closed. If not would like to get a peep on the show house. (i like to c show house) :) They even have servie apartments but it's WIP. Jan : holiday mood which was carried fwd last 2006. Travel to US with 5mts pregnant. C my bb "ho mia" best thing is can eat big portion, no need to worry about weight gain, shop for bb stuff ( i miss that alot). worst thing leg swallon like elephant leg. OMG..
Feb: CNY mood. Off for 1 week, no work, no oncall, no need to bring extra cellphone. cousin from US back, had good chit chat n present for bb
March: work a bit demotivate mayb due to maternity leave getting closer
April: april fool.. but didn't get any fool from anybodi ha... smart gal this year huh. start maternity leave for 2mths.. yipee
May: best part:gave birth to bb gal weighted 2.79kg. Labour for 5 hrs. bb birth day same as mine. lucky no 10? ha... nightmare: bb cried whole nite on 1st day at home, not enuf milk supply sigh....
June: back from maternity. not much work to handle. lepak a bit
July: ex classmate gave birth to bb gal. look more to daddy. started this blog. Thanks to uncle lee n georgi encouragement :)
Aug: news on deployment flew here n there. everyone scare, worry n frusfrated of such cycle. hair started to fall out b'coz of postnatal hormone. sigh... hate that.
Sept: weight still the same. not getting down. GOSH. attended microsoft teched at KLCC. almost 4 years not been to KL.
Oct : celebrate hubby b'day at toa restaurant. had japanese buffet. not bad.
Nov: hair fall getting better. eventually it stop.. phew else am goin to b bald.
Dec: my birthday celebrate with family. mom cook fried chic, salad n hash brown.. yummy vy full dinner oh yeah plus b'day cake from darling hubby. even though suppose to b on diet. got personal laptop yipee so happy.. full time mom, maid, wife, weight loser... oh boy this is tiring.... now count down for new year... 10.....9....8...7..6..5..4..3.2.1................

sometime me feel like giving up of interviwing coz feel tired of spining your HDD. Just felt like giving up or just say "u want to hire me or not" ha... well that will happen in my dream not reality. anyway no matter dun like it also need to smile or bear with it coz U NEED THE JOB. Damn...

another kiddo born b4 2007 end.. guess it's a closing ceremony of 2007 among my "si lai" friends. It's a bb boy and feature really look like papa... photostat copy haha. He is 3.75kg, 53cm. but mama suffer during labour. Not sure if she's phobia with labour n pregnancy stage. anyway after 10 months she's glad everything is over and another new stage of life along the way. that's parenthood. No worries u'll get thru it and am sure u'll enjoy it.

dother starting to eat solid food since this mth 1st. now she's 6mths.. can't imagine grow so fast lioa n mummy n daddy growing more white hair ha.. teach her to eat rice cereal and dessert (from bottle) hrm.. kids r so ho mia these days.

well she reject 1st time mayb dun know d taste or tasteless or dun know how to shallow. but after few temp good results. now she even complain if u r toooo slow to fed her. after feeding solid food felt she's growin stronger. also, mummy arm r growing muscular hahha.... gosh show that no need to go gym. carrying her up n down. good exercise. but not for my hip..:(

she start sit car seat. was sitting so stive no movement hands n leg.. the first thing is her eyes movin left n right , after a while only head move. I felt so funni n can't stop laughing at her re-action haha... i tot need to entertain her coz scare she is not use to car seat but was out of my expectation. hopefully the next seating she kuai kuai

she also started to sit on her mini car@walker. was sooo happy... able to push to the back but d strenght not that hard.. just mini.. anyway she's trying to learn.....well everyday is a learning for little fellow :)

totally forget i have journal during my pregnancy. recall it when doin file clean up. It a short part nia, i think that was when i'm in the 5th mth.... hrm good to hv some memories although just a short one... mayb if plan for next one.. sh be more hardworking to hv a journal....

Dec 21 - felt uncomfortable while working after having breakfast. Felt body pain and gastric. Went home earlier and took rest but still feel not good. Experience bloating, sour and also vomit twice after taking food.

Dec 22 - work from home. Most of the time just lie down n rest. Feel a bit better but still weak.

Dec 23 - it's Saturday. Not much activity was done. Just rest at home.

Dec 24 - it's xmas eve. It's the 2nd visit to dr ng for check up. Good news it's expecting baby gal :). Overall in terms of weight, size and blood sampling results are good. Mummy are glad everything works fine hehe. But somehow past days sickness not over yet, as still having some headache. Grandparents have wrong guess of the baby gender. hahah

Dec 25 - Another xmas in the year. This year is more meaningful as have additional family member for this celebration. Went shopping with hubby to get baby stuff. Previous sickness are over and appetitie are back to normal. Of course still craving for hokaido ice cream :) get maternity jeans from queenbay although the upper part looks quite weird. Also bought strelizer from sunshine square but forgot to spent on the voucher. Hrm.. Forgetful. It was tiring day as morning some housekeeping and afternoon for shopping. Oh ya, sister in law are planning to get some baby stuff

Dec 26 - back to work after long weekend. Office seems to be quiet as many people still on leave. Felt dizzy in the morning because experience some distrubon during the nite which cause by your daddy snore ..ugghh.. Anyway now felt more active and will have wedding dinner later at 730

Medical leave yesterday. Sunday midnite fever 39.5.... how do i feel? headache, hot inside but cold outside..... keep drinking water to clear off n vv a lot also but can't help ... at last took fever medicine which was last year... opps.. but dun care can not tahan lioa. makan then tidur.. next morning 37.9 ok drop a bit but headache damn strong. drag myself to clinic n u know wat .. wait for 1/2 hr OMG i want to faint lioa. Got 3 doctors n when i was there like 15 ppl ahead of me :) wat to do just wait. when my turn it's like 5-10 mins.... after took medicine sleep 6hrs... felt like not hving this sleep long long time lioa but whe get up beng beng.....

Successful parenting means taking the time to understand what our children need to be fulfilled, confident, and happy. Of course, that's no small task.

1. First and foremost, recognize the true gravity of your task. Parenting successful, emotionally happy children involves a great deal of important, mindful work - and huge, sweeping swaths of time. The first step is to accept that fact- and to embrace the role of parent as one of the most important roles anyone has ever taken on.

2. Have a ball. Just because our task is immensely important...that doesn't mean it can't also be great, great fun. Life with a family is a magnificent adventure- not simply a hassle filled with laundry and dishes. Remind yourself of this as often as necessary. And when the daily work of parenting starts to feel like drudgery, it's time to devote a day (or, at the very least, an afternoon) for intense family fun. Get some tickets to a ballgame and relax.

3. Spend a lot of time with your children. When you do so, children recognize that they are worth lavishing with time, praise, and attention.

4. Exhibit healthy, successful habits. If you want your kids to be healthy, fit, kind and compassionate, you'll need to live that way, too. Treat your mind, body, and soul with the utmost respect. Model caring, kindness, and compassion by working together (as a family) on a volunteer project a few hours a month.

5. Listen well. Strive to be honest, open, and attentive with your spouse and kids. When your children are speaking, get down on their level, ask questions, and really listen to their point of view. True listening does wonders for your children's self esteem, and it helps them to grow into good listeners themselves. Minimize social contact with adults who are continually "shushing" the children.

6. Show your children that you are genuinely interested in them. Make sure to let them know - through your words and behavior - that you care about what they like to do, even if that's altogether different from what the rest of the family enjoys. Get involved in activities that interest your child. Whatever it is, learn the lingo and sit down to learn from your child.

7. Try not to criticize, but work with your child on mistakes in a respectful way. Never criticize in front of other adults or children, including siblings. Work to understand their unique point of view. Taking the time to do so sends a message that you accept and trust their decisions and that their opinions are valuable and important.

8. Don't label your kids - even when those labels sound harmless. Try not to tell your children that they are shy or overly dramatic or too sensitive. Respect the person whom they are and the adult they are becoming, while respecting all the stages they will grow through to get there.

9. Choose your battles very carefully, and allow natural consequences to teach the lessons themselves whenever possible.

10. Be accepting of your children's friends. Encourage your children to invite their friends over.

11. Be enthusiastic. Make sure your face lights up when your children come near you.

12. Share family stories, whether through a family journal, a scrapbook, or by simply telling one another over and over again about the memories that you treasure. Read aloud at all ages and stages. Cuddle up under a blanket in the evenings to read silently, each with a different book. Ask your kids to make up stories and tell them aloud - or create illustrated books to share.
13. Treasure all the generations. Revere the grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins. Show your children that family is something they can count on for their entire lives.
All this can be distilled into one simple rule: Never let the big picture fade from view. In other words, make sure you have identified your true goal as a parent and live from that frame of mind. For example: My only goal as a parent is to raise happy, kind children who trust themselves and who enjoy peace of mind. If, this week, they decide to eat Top Ramen every night for dinner and sometimes forget to put their shoes in the closet, so be it.

Got belanja from friend on oversea mooncake. Just got to know that not all from oversea but mixture from tai thong haha... it show that just eat without reading anything. 4 types of flavour noble delight, green tea, lotus with single egg yolk with longan & lotus with single egg yolk low sugar. noble delight was intro on year 2004. wah tat was 3 yrs ago now only get to taste it. How was it? err... taste normal mayb am not good in tasting n dun really know what is good n bad haha huan chu me...:p

anyway nowadays mooncake not as cheap as last time. D price keep INCREASE yr by yr (wish that is my pay.. dreaming) so that's y it's not worth buying one. But good thing is the packing is getting nicer with hard cover.. wah need to be package competitor some more chia lat~!

Remember Isalynn? She was in PG during weekend so we visited her. brought my dother along. well isalynn looks it's like photocopy of her dad. both side dimple like her dad. but she's a bit stim stim. Her mom say mabuk milk hahha... not mabuk alcohol.

My friend carried my dother , at first it was ok but after few seconds her face impression change n later she burst into tears. loud also...hahha...in fact she was looking ard the moment i step into my friend house. She was staring at isalynn must wondering who's that small kid heheh :) the best part i like most is both father feeding their dother n both mother busy chatting... hahha.... cool mom huh? Should do that more often ;p

it's a big adventure for my dother coz brought her kai kai. but just only tesco i mean better than nothing rite? seems like she enjoy the car ride even fall asleep on d way. when reach there lieing comfortably on stroller she seems to b vy excited her eye rolling right to left n vice versa. Merdeka eve was a bit adventure. Ride motorcycle :) well wanted to avoid / stuck in the traffic. It was fun as can squeeze in d middle of car hahah... but hv 2 admit is bid dangerous coz no protection on left right side.

Lots of ppl in esplanade. The padang upgrade by having gate surrounding. Fireworks last about 7 mins compare to the fireworks competition is 20 min. That's different coz it's competition. So while on way back traffic JAM.. even for motorcycle. but anyway manage to get thru after turning here n there like snaking hehe. during the journey, was block by police in front of villa mas. Only blocked motorcycle. So this rela person chking on hubby liciense quite long ... not sure wat is he looking at... me curious wanted to ask but dare not hehe.. at around 1am reach home n guess wat my lower kinda numb after hving vibrate on seat so long. gosh wish that is osim massager chair.. sigh..

Yesterday mom told me rachelle can lift her head quite high and almost wanted to turn her body. So she demostrate to me n i felt WOW.. had feeling like.. my bb gal growing n progressing well. coz few weeks back am kinda worry if she manage to progress as according to d development stage. Looks like she is doin fine. N today just this morning she able to turn her bodi lioa...horray!!!!... i think need to give more practice n motivation to her. unfortunely can't take photo coz the her action too fast lioa. i wonder wat's next???

Recently doing research on cloth diaper. According from source, it could help u save lotz of bucks, helps environment n etc. so wat's cloth diaper? Well it had shape like normal disposable diaper but just that u need to wash. Also, need to hv insert cloth to place inside. It comes in either sizes (S,M,L) and free size. Had nando for lunch again. I think had one last friday. anyway always order the same old dish ie.e 1/4 quater chic with 2 sidelines n ice lemon tea. today had at airport coz friend need to pick up flight ticket. notice that d $$$ expensive by RM1. hrm that's show how frequent i eat nando :p but anyway service quite bad as wanted to take corn n my friend want to take salad.. feedback say "tak ada stock" sigh... like that also can. so hv to change to chips...

Wanted to try new dish but after discussing with friend change mind coz compare the $$$ a bit expensive. everytime see other ppl order other than quater chic looks good n keep saying "will try next around" not true la sure stick back to old order. LOL

we had 3 free bowl of chips. not that is a gift or wat just that complementary as factory worker hehe.. but we couldn't finish it coz "jilat" as sidelines also chips lioa. if eat too much potato face .. so tao po .. eh who took d chips huh?

finally my nike sneakers out from shoe closet from such a looooonnngg time. Wore it today. how does it feel? err.. not that bad minus hv to re-tie shoe lace about 3 x. That's y i don't mend to wear shoes with SHOE lACEEEEEEEEEE...... how much i bought it? err.. can't recall but the only thing i could remember is from kids section hahah... yaya i know i know u ppl out there feel envy that i could wear kids shoe.. :p

just hand up with new motherhood. remember about isalynn yeah was talkin to d mother. well call up to c how's she doing n wanna pat about her labour. she in d labour for 20 hrs.. *kesian not hving good sleep coz contraction getting worst. until da next morning only she got epidural so during her pain she was cursing * i think "y ah mun said like menstrual pain" it's NOT pain like hell.... oppss... i guess pain refer to different ppl :p but i consider myself luckily ler only labour for 5 hrs. won't want to image if pain for almost 2 days. ki sioa~!

but anyway she told me motherhood was tough. not getting enuf sleep after birth coz need to breast feed n lotz visitor. hiya told her who ask u to b soooo high profile. only manage to get sleep after 4 days. pity pity.

well every part of the puppy has musical and teach d body part ... the interesting part is b4 dother can learn how to play... me da mummy play 1st haha.. pai seh. hv to ma need to entertain her. Daddy bought for rachelle... "TQ daddy.. *muak *muak" (not sure if daddy know mommy hv blog) nowadays kids "ho mia" lots of toys out there is the matter of parents hv $$. n it's not cheap too if wanna get toys that help kids learn. not like us old days where got such things.. toy maker make big bucks!!!

Boss was here for 4 days. that's y no time to catch up with blog. after work no strenght lioa. Just feel like goin 2 bed don't feel like eating.

Well all PG member gather together. Usual stuff we had is team building, makan makan n f2f. Nothing much for this round f2f. basically just update wat u doing, update wat happen in the org. we had lunch at passage d india at Qbay. comment on the food? err.. so so nia. order mango lassi but... more like mango juice d taste not thick enuf n not CHEAP. 7 of us went for lunch total cost ard 3xx... cheap kah? after had teambuilding in cinema with inspector lee and LAPD detective James Carter. Quite hilarious from beginning till ending. like the part when nun need to translate french to eng with &*(^* words.

anyway lots of ppl watching too eventhough it's weekdays. hrm i wonder no need to work keh? or mayb work shift or college student. After that every 1 balik home sweet home...

don't know what happen today..while was driving to mom hse need to pass through 5 traffic light. Out of 5, 4 of them turn yellow when wanna pass thru. So while seeing the light green was wondering to speed or not too. so by the time speed mana tau turn yellow. sometime wanna brake also need to consider the car at back else mana tau kereta jadi aerobak.

n the worst thing is if the front car is driving like "around the world" n traffic light is in green make u lagi geram. by the time front car pass by u can't pass thru lioa. Vy geram such scenario... sigh....

1/2 year gone... now is aug... tomolo is weekend. time really really flies. Getting even scary when u get older not time catch u but u need to beat against time. sometime seems like time not enuf *sound like $$ not enuf. it just fly like that but if u think back "wat did I do". that why need to hv good time mgt. hrm..... sh take course on this?

well for weekend not much plannin la. mostly like to do housework during weekdays so can hv more rest during weekend. but cannot lioa hv to take my dother. but help to pass the time faster if she sleep.. eat n sleep not on "loa kai" :)

Another new member in the year of pig. A friend of mine (actually ex-school mate) gave birth to bb gal. Weighted 3.26kg. Wah berat juga~!. She call me last friday if wanna beranak or not. Thinking and thinking.. So i just told her no matter what there's pain after or before. So i guess she's curious to c wat her daughter look like, she was admitted.

Feel happy for her coz my daughter got another member hehhe.... but don't get a chance to c her daughter as she's in KL. According to my friend looks more like father. good also coz father got dimple. I like to c ppl with dimple so SWEET~!!!...

hopefully there's some photo sharing later coz i'm vy vy curious and loookkking fwd to c little gal ;)

so wat does Ajax stand for? Anybodi can give wild guess?

Stand for "Asynchronous JavaScript and XML". According from W3schools, is not new programming language but technique for creating better web applications. Gone thru some sample thru http://ajax.asp.net/ (intro by friend). Find it interesting coz uses visual studio developer to create dynamic website. Nowadays everything is wat u c is wat u get. Not like old days need to write source code. But writting source code got it pros, at least know what the tag use for. Now everything oledi there just pick & drag. Vy "eng"

Just gone thru the demo but hv not really try yet. Mayb will try it out if there's time coz too many things to learn. When u about to learn one thing new technology/technique comes up...

So those developer out there, everything is there just choose n drop :)

Couldn't believe such a antique cartoon change into a movie. Plus with human taking part. Feel a bit wierd as in cartoon only show robotic. Well watch at queensbay.. luckily not much ppl, if not won't get a good place. the show display at cinema 8 n it's wide screen i mean horizontal . get a bit headache as not use to c horizontal wide screen. normally what we c is more to a square screen.about the animation i think it's good. vy smooth. looks like a real thing except the battle in the city look a bit kelam kabut. anyway u know la as usual the good n bad guy (i mean "robot") fighthing each other to conquer? assume might hv 2nd series coz mayb will hv story on how the planet is destroy or how transformer exist at first place... stay tune i guess
